Terms and Conditions
When you purchase your ticket, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Carlingford Food Tours and yourself.
A contract between you and Carlingford Food Tours is formed once your booking has been accepted and full payment has been successfully processed.
1. Pricing
All prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
Tour prices include the food and drink items outlined in the relevant tour description. Prices may change at any time prior to confirmation of booking.
Payments are processed securely through our third party payment provider. Any booking or transaction fees charged by third parties are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
2. Payments & Security
All online payments are processed securely through trusted third party payment providers.
Carlingford Food Tours does not store or retain customer card details.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all booking information provided is accurate at the time of purchase.
3. Cancellations & Booking Changes
To cancel your booking please email us directly. We are happy to give you a full refund where cancellation is made 7 days or more before the scheduled tour date and time.
If within the 6 days you cannot attend you are welcome to send a guest/s of yours in your place. Please be good enough to let us know their name/s. Requests to transfer a booking must be made before the scheduled tour start time.
Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations made within 6 days of the scheduled tour date & time.
Failure to attend a booked tour will be treated as a no show and no refund, credit, or transfer will be offered.
Late arrivals may miss part of the experience and we cannot guarantee that guests arriving after the tour has commenced will be able to join the group.
4. Arriving for Your Tour
Guests are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Tours operate on a strict schedule and begin promptly. Refunds, credits, or transfers will not be provided for late arrivals or no shows.
5. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
All dietary requirements and allergies must be disclosed at the time of booking. While we work closely with our food partners, we cannot guarantee that any food served will be completely free from allergens.
Guests are responsible for assessing whether the tour is suitable for their individual dietary requirements and allergies. Participation and consumption are at the guest’s own risk.
Please note that tours operate on a fixed menu and may contain shellfish, nuts, dairy, gluten, and other allergens.
6. Alcohol
Some tours may include alcoholic beverages. Alcohol will only be served to guests aged 18 years or over. Valid photographic identification may be requested.
Carlingford Food Tours and participating venues reserve the right to refuse alcohol service where necessary.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
7. Changes or Cancellation by Us
In rare circumstances, Carlingford Food Tours may need to cancel or amend a tour due to weather conditions, supplier issues, minimum numbers not being met, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a tour is cancelled by Carlingford Food Tours, guests will be offered either:
• a transfer to an alternative date, or
• a full refund of the ticket price paid.
Carlingford Food Tours is not responsible for any additional travel, accommodation, or personal expenses incurred by guests in relation to a cancelled or amended tour.
8. Liability
Carlingford Food Tours shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or additional expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care during the tour.
Carlingford Food Tours accepts no liability for any illness, injury, loss, damage, or theft of personal property sustained during a tour, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded under Irish law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded under Irish law.
9. Photography & Social Media
Photographs and video content may occasionally be captured during tours for use across our website, social media channels, and promotional materials.
Guests who do not wish to appear in photography or video content should notify their tour guide before the tour begins and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
10. Website Use
All content on this website, including images, text, logos, branding, and design elements, is the property of Carlingford Food Tours and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
While we make every effort to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that the website will be free from errors, uninterrupted, or fully complete at all times.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
Carlingford Food Tours reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions where necessary.
Updated Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings from the date they are published on our website.
